| Nyla Stuckey is the proud owner of this wonderful guy. Avalon was started at Dave Williams and was walking, trotting, and cantering under saddle in only one week. Avalon will continue his training with Courtney Reid in November 2003. Avalon is by the incredible stallion Alcatraz who won his 100 day test with the incredible score of 141.93. Alcatraz is the lead sire in FN German ratings in his age group for hereditary transmission and is high on the list over all. Avalon looks like his dad with 3 white socks and blaze and is pure black. Lots of chrome! The substance, charisma, and power as a baby was amazing. He looked and moved like a power house. Dave has ridden Avalon in Sandy Howard Clinics twice. She was extremely inpressed with his disposition and movement. She felt he could go all the way as a dressage horse. Nyla plans to use him as a hunter/ jumper. He went to his first show in 2004. In 2008 in was Champion Jumper in Level 5 at the Wilsonville Horse Show. Avalon continues to be trained with Courtney Reid and Crossroad Training. Courtney has competed him sucessfully. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Avalon is shown as a foal playing with his mom as while as "showing his stuff" at the Oldenburg Inspection in 2000. If I could breed more mares to his father I would. This stallion produced very competive offspring. Fortunately I have Arabesque who also is out of Alcatraz and continues to produce top offspring for us. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
