| Cortez was born March 4, 2000. We chose Caretino as the sire. Caretino was ranked #5 in the WBFSH for top jumping sires in 2001. He is the youngest sire to be in the top 10 rankings. He has several approved stallion sons, with offspring competing in top international jumper and dressage competitions. Cortez's mother is a large boned thoroughbred mare that was nominated for the Breeders Cup. This broodmare has superb, incredibly suspended movement. Cortez, a premium foal, has beautiful conformation, correct legs and a lovely topline. With his background he would be a great sporthorse prospect for any discipline. Cortez has an incredible free jump which is very relaxed and alot of scope. He was started under saddle in 2003 by Dave Williams. Cortez is currently off the market for further training.
