| Oops! That's what happened in 1999 when our 12 month old Arabesque found true love in our 14th month colt, Illusions. Never again will yearling colts run with our fillies, but alas, what a beauty she is. The Oldenburg judges said she would have been top foal of the show. Although a mistake they said they would have been proud to have her in their barn. She is a sensational mover, even as a 3 day old. She is perfect in conformation, too. At the German Oldenburg Inspection, judges said she was the best mover of the show. Isla was sold to Dorthe Olsen who also purchased Honahlee. Darcey Rayner, her trainer, is amazed how athletic she is over fences. She will start a show career in 2005. |
